The Jubilee Park Accessible Splash Pad

After the Southampton Christmas Santa Parade, at a event to meet Santa partly supported by Rotary, the children were given an opportunity of donating their loonies to one of three causes. The Jubilee Park Accessible Splash Pad, GC Huston Running Track, or the School Breakfast Program. The accessible splash pad was the overwhelming favourite and received the most loonies, 75...! Wow...! A local citizen then topped up the amount with another $75 in order to purchase a paver which will be in scripted with "2016 Community Christmas Celebration". THANK YOU Picture shows: President John and Accessible Splash Pad Chair Ed receiving the donation that has been formed into a collage by the Children. The spirit of giving is alive and well...!
